Jeff Hotujec entered Army in 1968, and upon completion of Basic training, AIT for both 05B (Radio Operator) and 05C (Radio Teletype Operator) and Airborne school, he attended the Special Forces Qualification Course from January through June 1969. He served in the 6TH Special Forces Group (Airborne) FT. Bragg, NC. from June 1969 to March 1970, Project 404 (Laos), from March 1970 to June 1974, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) FT. Bragg from June 1974 to December 1975, 2d Bn 377 FA (LANCE) FRG, from December 1975 to December 1978, USAJFKSWCS (Commel Branch), from December 1978 to September 1983 FT. Bragg, and 1ST SFOD-D, FT. Bragg from September 1983 to retirement on 1 May 1990.
Currently, he is assigned as a Training Specialist for Branch 1, Training Development Division, Directorate of Training and Doctrine, United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. His responsibilities include the design, development, production and maintenance of Programs of Instruction (POIs) for Phase 1, the Special Forces Assessment and Selection course, and the Special Forces Preparation and Conditioning Phase 1 course.
